The installation CDs for Unity Connection are the same for CallManager 7.
I'm pretty sure you're getting RHEL4 with CUCM 7.

Will the CallManager move to RHEL 4/5 require a DRS export and import? Similar to Windows 2000 > 2003? Where you flatten the box and restore from backup? Or would Cisco run CallManager 7 with RedHat Extended Support like Windows 2000 forever?
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 ended full support on 4/30/06 & deployment support on 6/30/07 for Red Hat Advanced Server 3.0, end of Production 3 is 2010.

I couldn’t get that command to give output on 7.0(1). Seems it wants show packages active pkg, but that doesn’t give any output either….
However another thought is you see when installing updates they are .rpm files. I started to type RPM was only for RedHat but I see other distros are using .rpm as well.

i bet 'show packages active' command at CLI would help to figure this out.

Just wondering if Cisco publicly says what their system 7 appliance is based on?
Is it RedHat?
