Ah I see now,

Yes we release 6.X and previous Eses from time to time to compensate for the
lack of SRs. This is one of those releases as it has been released for
sometime now with out being deferred so it is deemed safe.

The readme/release notes are available when you click on the filename to
download. The very next page contains a link to the readme. That should have
the information you need.
