[cisco-voip] IP Phone kills a DHCP Server

Has anyone heard of any problems where an IP phone (7911 on 6.1.1b) takes down a DHCP server by flooding it with DHCP requests? Yesterday one of our DHCP servers went down The server event log indicated that the phone was continuously trying to renew it's DHCP lease. Once the phone was removed from the network all was well. Just wondering (and hoping) this was an isolated incident due to a bad phone. The phone firmware load is SCCP11.8-3-3SR2S

Thanks!
Steve
