[cisco-voip] CCM 4.1.3 CDR -> CUCM 7.1.2 CDR

To clarify Dennis' question the method CUCM 5.x and later uses for
automatic CDR/CMR upload is via flat files. To get them into an SQL
server you would need to take those flat files and use whatever
method you wish to import them.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CCM 4.1.3 CDR -> CUCM 7.1.2 CDR

I am preparing for an upgrade from a CCM 4.1.3 Cluster with off-
cluster CDR to CUCM 7.1.2.

Our current billing system is set up to pull from an MS SQL server,
since that is what CCM 4.1.3 uses.

Since our billing system is tied in with many of our other IT systems
billing functions, changing it is probably out of the question.

My question: Is there a way to import the Informix DB CDR into the
current MS SQL database?

I am not a DBA by any stretch, but do I just need a server to copy
the CDR’s from the CUCM to that is running Informix then use an ODBC
driver to run queries to copy the data from Informix to my existing
SQL database?

Is there documentation on this somewhere?

Thanks,

-C
