One slight correction. Installing the firmware for a device does not
add support for the device in CCMAdmin. The only way you get new
devices added is via device pack or ES patches.
For 6.1(1) you need to install 6.1.1.3110-1 or later to get support
for the 7925. The latest device pack may or may not get it as well
but you can look at the readme for the devpack to confirm this.

You’ll either have to download and install the 7925 firmware or the
latest device pack onto your UCME cluster. Keep in mind that the
device pack will most generally update the firmware for all of your
phones.

Subject: [cisco-voip] 7925 wireless/cordless handsets
Does anyone know whether this model… 7925g will work on the Unified
Communication Manager 6.1.1? I have installed and setup the 7921
and 7920 models but this one does not seem to be in the list. Do I
need to update or add the device in?
Thanks in advance..
Terry
Also having an issue with our two 7921 handsets… they are configured
and connecting via the wireless access points but seem to drop the
call, or reception (hearing via speaker or speakerphone) is spotty at
the least. There generally is 4 bars on the strength meter and no
less than 2, so I think we have good signal…. Thanks again for this
too.
