Unity Connection 7 uses IBM Informix as the database engine. It's locked down, but there are APIs you can use to "squeeze through the bars".

Subject: [cisco-voip] Moving from Unity 5.x to Unity connection

Can anyone tell what flavor of exchange is on the Unity Connection platform? Also, does Cisco lock the server down like they have with the CallManagers?
Cheers
Rob
