[cisco-voip] Question About Phone Interface After Upgrade from CCM 4 to CUCM 7

I don't anticipate any issues going to the new firmware per se; I am
mostly wondering what will happen when the upgrade to 7 occurs.  Will
our templates stay mainly intact or at least can we change them to make
them have the same soft keys as users see now?

I'd advise you to look at the release notes for the firmware version  
you will be moving to.  IIRC the last major overhaul to the way the  
phones look was in 8.4 (which is probably why you are asking).

We have 7961s, 7936 and 7912 phones, running on firmware 8.4.1 in  
Call Manager 4.1(3).  Once we upgrade to 7.X, will we be able to
