[cisco-voip] FXO Outgoing Call Problem

Still not making a lot of sense I’m afraid. When I’ve got an analog phone hooked directly up, it works perfectly both inbound and outbound. When I’ve got it connected with a RJ11 to the FXO port on a 3845 (set for MGCP), inbound works, but not outbound. I tried just switching the RJ45 ends, but that didn’t make any difference.

If you reverse the wires that are connected to an fxo it doesn't get correct voltage reversal and the line that is will drop. This is called a wink start trunk. So you flip the pair and test your fxo

Check polarity on you line part of your debug shows line reversal
