[cisco-voip] Fax Machines having a very delayed response

I think people are really wanting the DSP that can do >14.4 speeds. 

PBX's analog lines have had this for ever. Even hitting speeds of 100kbps if not higher. 

ROLM had it's advantages.

Technically the SG3-G3 feature for MGCP T38 is supposed to do this for 
you, to prevent having to program fax machines. It blocks the SG3 
tones and waits until the fax machines renegotiates G3. This can have 
its own issues though. 

It's worth noting that the DSPs do not guarantee any speed faster than 
14400 for modem passthrough, but if you are going to try and get 
faster speeds it's the only way and it can be done under some 
circumstances. 

You won't do SG3 relay, but you may be able to get SG3 to work through 
modem passthrough basically.
