[cisco-voip] Best Test for New PRIs?

Testing through FXO ports could mean a number of different things...if you want to test calling your PRI circuits through your FXO ports, that might work...

It sounds like these PRI circuits are at another facility where you don't have ready access to setup a router and switch to them yet. Also PRI circuits aren't usually hot unless you ask TelCo to make them so. Your best test method will be with a console connection to the PRI-connected router on your lap, and a phone jammed betwixt your shoulder and head connected to TelCo requesting them to make the circuit hot for you to make test calls to your mobile phone or any other test handset you have available.

Thanks for the suggestion. We won't have any connectivity between offices.

Will testing through FXO ports tell us anything about how the circuits will work with Call Manager?

Does this gateway have network connectivity to the existing call
manager? You could set it up in the CUCM before moving the servers
and test calls in/out that way. Set up the gateway and a test
partition, route patterns, CSSs and assign the test CSS to 1 or 2
phones.

If not, do like others have suggested previously in the discussion. If
you have a FXS port on the gateway you could test with a POTS phone
off the FXS port and dial peers.
