[cisco-voip] router memory requirements

I would think 1GB is enough. With what you have listed, SRST is the only memory hog I know of. I haven’t seen SRST/Memory requirements for the ISR G2 routers.

Subject: [cisco-voip] router memory requirements

does anyone know if there is a router memory calculator like there is a DSP calculator?

i'm trying to decide to stick with the default 1GB of memory on the 3945s or buy the 1GB upgrade for a very good price.

if i stick with 1GB and have to upgrade later, the cost is more, but at least i'm not throwing away money (it's replace, not add).

what are the chances of me needing more than 2GB on a router? what is taxing on memory in a router config?

i will be loading the router with:

*	48 port switch module
*	3 2MFT T1 VWICs for PSTN (MGCP for now, maybe H323)
*	HD FXS/FXO module
*	SRST with about 600 devices (maybe more)
*	Cisco Unity Express w/ 24 ports (likely fully used under certain circumstances)
*	IOS 15 (it's a 3900 platform)
*	conferencing resources (possibly 10 x 32 conference participants)
*	EIGRP routing (stub if we can make it, but all campus routes otherwise)
