Not to mention you cannot add users through the gui without ldap integration, contacts have to be added manually through the cups user web pages.  Not a very attractive to end users.

From what I recall you cannot use CUPS without ldap.  Even if you aren't using ldap sync with CUCM you have to use ldap on CUPS and the ldap userid must match that of the CUCM enduser userid.

We are trying to set up CUPS using the UCM user db.  The users authenticate fine, but we don't get any presence information.  softphone & voicemail works, but that's about it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
