[cisco-voip] Cobras Migrating Unity 4 to Unity 7

For what it is worth we just did a 4 to 7 upgrade, new hardware. We
installed a clean copy of 7 on the new box, upgraded the old box to 7 (with
a temp license key that TAC cut for us) and did a backup of the old and then
restored it onto the new. We didn't use COBRAS at all.

Unity 4 to Unity 7 parallel build

>From the documentation, Cobras will not migrate users on an existing Unity
UM to a new Unity System. So would the best process be to migrate just the
subscribers with GSM and then do the Cobras import. The later is to allow
for the 'extra' data to migrated to the subscribers, suchas zero-out to
operator or other numbers? Based on this process how reliable will the
migration be or should DIRT be considered the better tool?
