[cisco-voip] no upgrade from CUCM 4/5/6 to CUCM 8?

i just came out of presentation put on by Cisco Knowledge Network and was surprised to see a slide which showed no, I repeat no, upgrade path from CUCM 4/5/6 to CUCM v8. ok, not surprised about the no 4->8 path, but no 5/6 to 8? that was surprising.
