If you have the SQL cd from your old version you should be able to use the SQL reuse tool for 7.0 to install with your old SQL cd. It's a cco download.

Subject: [cisco-voip] IPCC upgrade 4.0(5) to 7.0(1): SQL2K for HA installation

Hi,

we have two IPCC servers working in HA mode in version 4.0(5).

Customers has bought two new servers and is upgrading from 4.0(5) to version 7.0.1 in the new servers. We are trying to install version 7.0.1 directly in the new servers, but we haven't received the SQL2000 CD for this version, so, when I try to install the second node, it complaints about the SQL, because MSDE is installed instead of SQL2K in the first node.

Is it possible to obtain the SQL2K CD for CCX 7.0.1 from Cisco or do we have to install 4.0(5) and then upgrade to 7.0(1)? I think this is not the case because we have only the 7.x license bound to the new server.

Thanks in advance,

Ruben
