[cisco-voip] 2008 Domain controller?

We were on 6.1.2 and we upgraded to Win2008 native mode. One thing to keep in mind that call manager doesn’t integrate with AD. It integrates with LDAP. The LDAP provider hasn’t changed a ton…..

This is an interesting one..

Look at this link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/vcallcon/ps556/product_bulletin_c25-468500.html

Make sure your not running a really old release—Got someone on one of those, long story..

I would not even think of Exchange 2010…..

We've done the schema extensions but haven't upgraded any servers yet.. the systems guys are talking about doing it "soon" though.
Unity is the only thing I have integrated with it.

Has anyone upgraded a Domain controller to 2008 (mixed mode 2003) that also has AD integrated CM / Unity / UCCx / Etc ?

we have about 4 DC's all running 2003 and Exchange 2007 with AD integrated CM 6.1.2, Unity 5.0.1, and UCCx 5.0.2.

if we promote a DC to 2008 (mixed mode) am I going to kill any voice stuff? I'm assuming not as the voice apps now just grab out of AD and not directly write to AD.

Comments?

Thanks

Scott
