One lesson I've learned at Cisco: T=f(t). That is truth is a function of time. What you stated was previously truth. Unfortunately it does not last.

There appears to be an aversion among many customers to installing anything called an "ES". The goal is to stop posting ES and get to posting only SU when critical fixes are available.

I'm working on a doc to help explain the UCM release process. From where you sit would that be more "interesting" or "useful"?

I guess that blows my theory from a few postings ago about how there wouldn't be any more SRs released, just ESs. ;)

"SU" stands for "service update". it the equivalent to an SR in the windows world.

it is an ES + additional critical fixes rewrapped and internally tested.
