anyone using long loop adapters with their VG224 like the one viking offers?

http://www.vikingelectronics.com/products/view_product.php?pid=290

we've got a few loops longer than 3000ft which is the max (at 26AWG) for the VG224.

we're using 22/24AWG wiring so we think we'll be safe, but just wanted to see what others are doing.
