Yep fair point!

I do like to use Hunt Groups with hLog softkey
Then no answer off to VM, where you could have your holidays / alternate
greetings applied.

You could also just do a simple call forward all on holidays, and activate
an alternate greeting in vm.

Or you could route it to VM first, and then transfer off depending on time
of day / holidays. Not my favourite option though.
