just the 3660 actually. i ruined a 3640's NM slot 2 once by trying it
once anyway, i recommend against it unless you're usign a 60. =) You
had to OIR the NM, you couldn't OIR a WIC or VWIC in an NM, you yank
out the whole NM, put the new WIC in and pop it back in =) I believe
that carries forward to NM-form-factor routers claiming to support
OIR. I've definitely seen OIR operations on sub 7xxx series routers
not go so well in the field.
