[cisco-voip] P3 Nortel Ip Phone Model 2400 will not register on 3560

Have you tried a newer ios on the 3560? yours is pretty dated

Throwing this out there in case anyone has seen this before.



Client has Nortel Ip Phone Model 2404 this device will successfully register on 2950 but will not on 3560



Same interface configuration



description ACCESS-SD_IP_PHONE

switchport access vlan 126

switchport mode access

no logging event link-status

spanning-tree portfast

spanning-tree bpduguard enable





3560 Version 12.2(25r)SEC

2950 Version 12.1(22)EA13

Capture was taken of phone startup on both switches.

When the phone is on the 3560 it boots up quickly to a blank screen.  It is pingable but shares the same functionality as a paperweight.

When the phone is on the 2950 it boots up and displays DN etc on the screen, it functions as designed.

phone is powered using a Power Brick
3560 model is WS-C3560-48TS no POE
