Looks like the Ericsson is responding with an ALERTING message containing PI=2.

You could try "tone ringback alert-no-PI" on the POTS DP into the Ericsson. That should generate an H225 PI message back into the Call Manager when Ericsson sends an ALERT.

FYI I do get ringback tone if I change calls from Cisco to Ericsson to go via a SIP trunk.

Hi Dana,
in that case you need to do something at the ericsson end instead.
Usually to force a ringback, cisco is the recieving end.
