Yeah, I don't think it does endpoints. Though I've been told that even though CM4.X does allow SIP trunks, it doesn't do them well. You'd need to be on 5.X at the least.
Though don't quote me on it, I'm only going based on the recommendation from a vendor who we use for the occasional pro services help....
