[cisco-voip] CUCM/CUCXN 8.0.3 is Out and the ISO is Bootable!

Wes may be more clued in than I am but I don't see a release date set for 7.1.5bsu2.

Keep in mind 7.1(5b) is no different than 7.1(5) unless you are doing an unrestricted install of CUCMBE.

No plans to go backward but it is intentional going forward.  We are working on getting it everywhere we can starting with 7.1.5bsu2, 8.0.3, and 8.5.1. When I get updated confirmation I will share as much as possible in a support forums doc.

Note, you will still need to place orders in order to get PAK for licensing.  This should greatly reduce media issues though. It's been a long time coming and the need to remove the 'patch during install' option finally pushed it over the top.

Not at all, and the same goes for CUCM, though I don't believe it is documented anywhere.
 
The 8.0(3) engineering specials will also be bootable (no more upgrade during install) and will be advertised as such.

From the 8.0.2 RN: The upgrade application posted on Cisco.com can be used only to upgrade to Cisco Unity Connection 8.0. It cannot be used to install a new Connection 8.0 server.
From the 8.0.3 RN: The software application posted on Cisco.com can be used to install a new Cisco Unity Connection 8.0(3) server or to upgrade an existing Connection server to version 8.0(3).
