The table you listed is not the entire list of parts for AX609A. Those bundles were created so they could be ordered directly from HP and the server would come with all the correct parts. We've seen some customers who's internal ordering couldn't use the bundle (for whatever reason) and instead ordered each part. This usually does not end up well.

Did you purchase AX609A or did you purchase the individual parts?

TAC is unable to assist me with this matter.

Using Cisco’s matrices:

I purchased 4 DL 380 G6 (AX690A)

1
494329-B21
HP DL380G6 CTO Chassis
1
492136-L21
2.00Ghz Nehalem E5504 Processor FIO
4
500656-B21
HP 2GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600R-9 Kit
3
507125-B21
HP 146GB 10K 6G 2.5 SAS DP HDD

Install fails at:

- 7845H3: passed detection validation
DL380G6: BIOS UPDATE
DL380G6: BIOS SETUP
DL380G6: RAID UPDATE
DL380G6: RAID SETUP
Afterwards the installations stops with "Error: could not configure the default cache settings for" and the only option is to abort.

BIOS and all firmware is updated.

Tried install with all volumes deleted from raid.

What I’m I missing?

Thanks
Andrew
