[cisco-voip] CUCM/CUCXN 8.0.3 is Out and the ISO is Bootable!

I've tried this in a pinch once and it didn't work. Yes, it does boot, but
the install fails.

Thanks,

Also looks like this is not a bootable image as mentioned in the readme.

Guess bootable image is only in v8?

restricted version?

Doesn't look like the SU's support upgrades from DMA.

So I guess it will be a two step upgrade for the publisher.

I'll see if I can boot the ISO tomorrow.

Wes,

Any idea when 7.1(5b)SU2 ISO will be available online? I only see 7.1(5b)
non-bootable.

No plans to go backward but it is intentional going forward. We are working
on getting it everywhere we can starting with 7.1.5bsu2, 8.0.3, and 8.5.1.
When I get updated confirmation I will share as much as possible in a
support forums doc.

Note, you will still need to place orders in order to get PAK for licensing.
This should greatly reduce media issues though. It's been a long time coming
and the need to remove the 'patch during install' option finally pushed it
over the top.

I believe I read in the CUCM RN that patching will no longer be allowed

Don't suppose you guys want to go back and refresh all the other builds? :)

Not at all, and the same goes for CUCM, though I don't believe it is
documented anywhere.

The 8.0(3) engineering specials will also be bootable (no more upgrade
during install) and will be advertised as such.
