Hi Christoph,

definitely possible, we are using this for some special stunts (third party applications) right now. Both systems must support sip simple and you will be good to got.
You need to configure a sip trunk between the systems, allow sip subscribes via the subscribe CSS and by enabling Presence Subscribes in the SIP Trunk Security Profile.
