[cisco-voip] UCS C-210M1 Datastore Alignment

Hi All

I'm currently building 2 x UCS C-210 servers, on one of the servers I am
having trouble aligning the datastores to the correct size, according to the
installation guide I should do the following

Log into the vSphere Client.
Step 2 Select the Configuration tab and Storage.
Step 3 Select the larger (407 or 950 GB) datastore and click on delete.
Step 4 Allow the operation to complete, then click on Add storage.
Step 5 Select Disk LUN and click on Next.
Step 6 Select the disk partition displayed and click Next.
Step 7 Enter a name for this datastore, such as vm_datastore, then click
Next.
Step 8 Verify the parameters displayed for this datastore, then click on
Finish.
This datastore will now be aligned. To verify datastore alignment, you can
perform these steps:
a. Log into the ESXi console.
b. Run fsck -lu.
c. Verify that the larger partition (the one used for VMs) starts at 128 and
not at 63.

I complete this all however when I verify the datastore the larger partition
is at 63 not 128.

The other server I have built is at 128 and I have done nothing different, I
have tried rebuilding the 1st one but it's still at 63.

Does anyone know how I can change this or what the relevance is, does is
matter if it stays at 63 ????

TIA

Nick
