[cisco-voip] Installing CM7.1.2 on MCS 7825-I4 failed

First of all the doc and bug you reference don't have anything to do with install failures but patching the hard drive firmware prior to install is a very good idea.

Second I would strongly recommend going to 7.1(5) over 7.1(2) for a new install.  If you don't have the media handy for 7.1(5) the 7.1(3b)SU2 posted to cisco.com is bootable media that you can use for an install (just to rule out an issue with your 7.1.2 media).

Finally, you can try going in and deleting any existing raid array on the server to see if that helps get the install moving.  Once it passes hardware validation the disk setup is the next step.

So I installed the FWUCD 3.6.1 but got the following errors:

update not applicable to this system configuration hardware is not required
IBM system x3250 M2 remote supervisor adapter II1.05 (install did not succeed)
