I’m just shocked I guess. Cisco seems very focused on being able to manage their devices in just about any scenario, so much so that this seems like a step backwards…but maybe I’m missing something.
Let me try from a different angle then, what is Cisco’s solution for remote hardware management? I’ve had cases where I’ve needed to hardboot hung servers in the middle of the night. After all, it is running windows :)

Cisco has never provided advanced iLO licenses for HP servers.

The company that practically invented out of band management and pushes it on almost every product now can’t include a license with the server to run it? And don’t even get me started on the lack of multi-interface support on servers that have multiple interfaces.
Anyone got any info on how to request an iLO license from HP?
