[cisco-voip] upgrade from UCCx 5 to 7

How about going from 4.5(2) to 7.x? Will the CAD/CSD clients update automatically or will that big of a jump require a manual uninstall/reinstall?

Thanks,
Kevin

Ran through it in the lab, nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell. I'm sure some agents will be upset that the splash screens are different on CAD when it starts up. Oh the humanity.

Looks like the supervisor client username/password is synched up with the agent/directory password now. only real difference I could tell from a user standpoint.

I've read through the upgrade notes on UCCx 5 to 7. Looks really easy (well we are talking Cisco......). How does the CAD work? The day after the upgrade, do the CAD clients just upgrade Automagically? or do you have to uninstall and reinstall? I don't see that documented.

Thanks

Scott
