Does the external call hit CUE at all or just get reorder?

Subject: [cisco-voip] incorrect route to Voicemail on CME

I have a CME and Unity Express.
On the CME several dn's and huntpilots are present. Also there is a voicemail number (9000).

When an internal call is placed to huntpilot 1099 the call routes to DN's 1000 and 1001, and finally to voicemail (9000).
But when an external call is placed to the same huntpilot 1099 the call isn't routed to the voicemailbox.

What can be the reason for this?
