Hi Tim,
If the phone is auto-negotiating to full/100, try setting manually.

Also, is the phone negotiating 100 or 1000 to the switch?

I have a 7971G-GE phone and the switch won't pass my gig connection
through to my computer, only 100mb. I can't find anywhere how to modify
to send the gig connection through the switch. I know it's capable. Any
ideas?
