So my question is, will UCProxy just go away? I'm glad I haven't purchased any licensing yet.
I sure wish I understood better what Cisco's plans are. Every time I start buying stuff, 6 months later, Cisco EoS the item. ICS7750, FWSM, Phone Proxy, CMM, etc, just to name a few.

Never tried, it's definitely not supported, albeit since they have sip mode I would think you might be able to swing it. It is most assuredly a cool phone in a little package.
They are going to have the vpn on 7900 gen 3 phones with CCM8 and Firmware 9.0 next month

Anyone try and get a SPA525 working with CM?
I would like to see if the SSL VPN that is embedded would be usable for teleworkers.
thanks
Scott
