[cisco-voip] ccmuser pages in 7.1 -> pub only or sub ok?

It's impossible for it to cause database inconsistencies since CCMUser only writes to the publisher's database. If the sub doesn't have access to the pub's db then it won't let users save any changes.

I don’t believe I have see it documented anywhere stating that it is not supported. In pre-linux platform UCM I would agree as the databases are less than robust. With 5x+ the sub databases are locally writeable.

I think we all know what works and what is supported are two different things. ;)
We got that working with 4.1(3), but were told that it could cause problems (database inconsistencies) if the subs lost communications with the pub.
Have you seen it documented that it is now supported?

Whomever told you that is incorrect. We load balance across subs with an ACE. Works great.

We were told in the past that users should only be accessing ccmuser pages off the publisher.
Has this changed at all with v7.1?
Can I point users to the ccmuserpages using the sub's ip address? I'm thinking of creating a reverse proxy and filling in a few of the subs rather than the publisher.
