check out the help page and see what it says. it will likely have limitations there. CxN has similar limitations:

Cisco Unity Connection can set message waiting indicators (MWIs) at up to 10 extensions for a user when new voice messages arrive.

Aside from that, consider, as you suggested, a shared line that is an alternate extension for that mailbox as well. That way, when it gets an MWI you just press the messages button and it brings you into that mailbox.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity 7 messages MWI

Hi everyone,

I am configuring messages MWI for a single extension to be shown on multiple extensions. However, after the like 9 extensions are added, the ADD button is greyed out. Is there a way to do more than this, or some other work around? This isn’t any single user’s primary extension so maybe a shared line across the phones (2 nd extension) would be better. But I would like to know if there is a way around only 9 additional extensions for MWI.

Thanks,

Bill Hendrix
