Why not scan from the box?

Behind the kickstand now, just confirmed on a recent shipment. I think this was discussed a few months ago.

But I tell you, it's not easy to read. Wonder if a scanner can read the barcodes directly on plastic.

We’ve just received an order of (100) 7942 IP Phones and notice none have serial or mac address labels on the back.  Is this something new?  Or a mistake?
