I assume you have looked at a call you made to one of these DIDs (both via AA and not) to see if the original number is in there?
If you are concerned about separating calls from internal phones from PSTN callers then you can look at the originating device or ANI. If your 10 to 5 digit translations are 1-to-1 mappings then a simple script should be able to take exported CDRs and modify them appropriately for reporting.
