You can ask the licensing team to email your PAK...it is tried, our
presales team do it all the time...our main problem was in the Media
especially for the new major releases.

Now if they can just get the PAK emailed rather then waiting weeks to

Note, you will still need to place orders in order to get PAK for
licensing.  This should greatly reduce media issues though. It's been a
long time coming and the need to remove the 'patch during install'
option finally pushed it over the top.

	Not at all, and the same goes for CUCM, though I don't believe
it is documented anywhere.

	 

	The 8.0(3) engineering specials will also be bootable (no more
upgrade during install) and will be advertised as such.

can be used only to upgrade to Cisco Unity Connection 8.0. It cannot be
used to install a new Connection 8.0 server.

	From the 8.0.3 RN: The software application posted on Cisco.com
can be used to install a new Cisco Unity Connection 8.0(3) server or to
upgrade an existing Connection server to version 8.0(3).
