LDAP should have the phone number field and the ip-phone field. I would populate one of them with the 4 digit field. Unrelated to that I'd get off of CUCM 5.x as soon as I could.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Translation Pattern
Hi,
I have cisco Call Manager 5.1 which I have just synced with the LDAP (Micorosft AD)
Problem is my internal DN are only four digits which I am configuring in the CCM.
But inside the LDAP the users have total 9 digits including my ISDN number also.
For example 12345XXXX. I want call manager to discard the first 5 digits and dial
only the last four digits of the dialed number.
any idea how can i do this. I tried to play with the Translation pattern but its not working
with me.
Thank you.
Regards,
