The reasons you mentioned about .0 releases were actually a driving
factor to improve the 7 and 8 .0 releases. Now, whether the public's
experience has changed or not is something else. But they were released
with far fewer defects than previous .0 releases.

When upgrading CM, we've typically waited for the x.1 release unless
there was a "gotta have it" feature/fix in x.0. This was mostly to
avoid the bugs in x.0. Our SE recently said that the 7.0 and 8.0
release have had fewer bugs than previous x.1 releases. Just curious if
others are more comfortable deploying x.0 now that the code is more
mature?
