Phone firmware loads do not require a full reboot. I do believe, however,
that you will need to stop/start TFTP services on both boxes after you have
applied the update.

Thanks,

Subject: [cisco-voip] Upgrading a 7925g firmware

Callmanager 7.1.3

I hwant to upgrade to the 1.3.4 SR1 release on the 7925G. I currently
have a few phones defined. (We're having large problems with them
dropping all audio for about 5-15 seconds, and looks like this might
have a fix for it)

So I get the cmterm-7925-sccp.1-3-4SR1.cop.sgn file off Cisco. In the
release notes is this little gem:
To make the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone available in the Cisco
Unified Communications Manager system, you might need to upgrade your
system with the latest DevPack patch for your release of Cisco Unified
Communications Manager. Check the Readme file
(cmterm-7925-sccp.1-3-4SR1-Readme.html or
cmterm-7921-sccp.1-3-4SR1-Readme.html) that is posted with the
firmware version 1.3(4)SR1 for more information.

I can't find that file. (The readme file)

Any ways...

If goto OS administration -> Software Upgrades -> Install / Upgrade,
and upload the .cop.sgn file

Will I have to reboot the PUB / SUB? (I'm assuming not, since I'm not
adding a new phone type)

Mike
