This is the setting in MPE that restricts booking web ports

With express, when you schedule the meeting, if it configured for full web/ not participant list, it will reserve all the ports as web+audio for that meeting.

If it’s anything like meetingplace, WEB is always ad-hoc.  You only reserve voice and video ports.

There is a setting for this. I would check under the group config for starters. It lets you prevent users from book web-meeting.

We are running Cisco MPE Ver 2.1.1.2.

 

Is there are way of restricting which users within MPE can book web licences?

 

So, when general users are scheduling a meeting, they can only select Voice + Video and therefore the http link isn’t sent in the calendar reminder and the web licences reserved?

 

Selected users should be allowed to book web / voice / video meetings.
