[cisco-voip] Can I increase paging volume?

I use the PCM2000 system (TIM/CPU/ZPM) a lot. What make/model is the amplifier?

For the loud pre-announce tone you're experiencing, most of the time, I find that *after* I have adjusted the amplifier for desired paging volume, the "tone volume" knob on the TIM typically ends up needing to be almost fully counter-clockwise.

P.S. It will not help your volume issue, but I highly prefer to connect the TIM to an FXO port (and adjust the DIP switches accordingly) rather than FXS. Better disconnect supervision is the main reason. Also it gives you the flexibility to manipulate digits for zone groups using route patterns in CUCM instead of having your users (mis)dial digits directly to the TIM.

It's a PCMTIM/PCMCPU/PCMZPM combo. I'll check with Bogen to see if I
have it right.

I have the volume cranked up on the amplifier for the pager and the initial BING sound from the Bogen is VERY LOUD however the voice that comes across is quiet in comparison. So much so that most people cannot hear the page unless it is near dead silence in the room. I've tried tweaking things on the Bogen but everything I tried got worse, not better. I'm hoping that maybe there's a way in CM to boost the volume or something. Anyone have any suggestions?
