[cisco-voip] Removing server from cluster

Hello all

I have a 3 server call manager cluster v4.2(3).

I have the Publisher and subscriber 1 at main location and subscriber 2
at remote location. I have a dedicated T1 between the two locations
just for the call manager synchronization. All of the voice traffic
goes across the MPLS WAN.

Remote location users used to register to that subscriber as primary,
but we are making some changes to our network layout and I now have them
registering back across the wan to the subscriber here at the main
location. I am also planning to get rid of the dedicated T1 and turn
off / remove the subscriber from the remote location.

Do I need to worry about removing it from the cluster configuration, or
just turn it off and leave it?

If I decide to install it at the main location as a second subscriber,
what needs to change?

I will probably just keep it on hand as a spare in case I have a
problem. Suggestions are welcome.
