[cisco-voip] UCM 8.0 and 8.1

I'm looking at installing UCM 8.0 in a VM environment.  I heard this is not supported, does anyone know if it can be done?  Also, does anyone know when UCM will be available for virtualization? I heard 8.1.  Just wanted to get some input.
