Most later versions wil throw a specific error if there isn't enough disk space to confirm.

What is your SFTP server?  You may want to check its logs as the server wasn't able to pull the file successfully.

I have a suspicion that it could be a disk space issue.  Real time monitoring shows the disk space at 84% pre upgrade.
 
Any ideas on how to fix this issue?  If it is disk space, how can I free up space?
