So I did a boot helper and watched my tftp server via WireShark. I was sending back a ICMP unreachable for port 69. Seems I was trying to use FreeFTPD to server up tftp, which it won't, switched to tftpd32.exe
The bug here is that the SRE's boot helper doesn't show any port unreachable or any error messages when it can't fetch the file. I had assumed the cue-installer.sme.8.0.1 file was being uploaded since I got no errors on screen. 4 hours of my life I want back from those developers....you should always code the display of errors or failure to fetch a file into products!
