Release notes for 8.5(4) saw the following bug is resolved:

Cisco Unified IP Phone may reload when receiving fragmented packets

CSCtb03394 Bug Details
Third gen phones (TNP) may reload when receiving crafted packets

Symptom:
A crafted IP packet may cause third generation IP phones to reload.

Further Problem Description:
If the crafted packet is received during a call, the call will be lost.

Can I get some clarification on what type of packets will cause this?
Malicious packets or maybe just packets with errors? Is this something
that must be intentional done on the network or just if some fragmented
packets on the network?
