Thanks for your support James...actually I did what you mentioned and I
cleared all DMA warning so that when I export DMA from 4.2 it give no
warning at all...and now it works...but I don't know was the reason this
2K file or the warning messages!!!...I will investigate this on a VMware
and give you a feedback.

When I hit that same error on a migration to 6.1, I had to do these
steps per TAC:

1. Delete the "VG224 display instance-mgcp.xml" from
"C:\ProgramFiles\Cisco\Bin\Xmltemp\Xml".

2. Reboot the server.

3. Once it comes back up verify that the file was not re-created by
default.

4. Re-run DMA to get a new file.

5. Attempt the upgrade with this new file and this time it should go
through.

Worked like a champ!

Dear all;

I am trying to upgrade a CCM from 4.2(3) to 7.1(3) and I have the error
attached (errors are regenerated on VMware, but the actually happen with
hardware server)...please note that I am migrating with different IP
address than the Publisher IP address that I took the DMA from.

Am I hitting the below bug again??? It does not match my version but it
the same symptoms.
